Very often, 5 card draw is the first variation of poker learnt by most players. It is very common in home games although it is now rare in casinos and tournament plays. Two to eight players can play draw poker. In draw poker, the player builds a hand from five cards. After the initial betting round, players may discard some or all of their cards and replace them.
